NEO 500-1

The Bruker NEO500-1 is located in WTHR 367B. It is recently upgraded with a new NEO console with two RF transmit/receive channels, Z-gradient hardware, and variable temperature control with chiller unit. It is equipped with a Prodigy liquid-nitrogen cooled cryoprobe with BBFO configuration. This gives the spectrometer very high senisitivity for all nuclei; only the 800 has higher sensitivity, for 1H and 13C (only). It has a Linux host computer running TopSpin 4.3.0.

We would like to thank Dr. Lance Ballard of Bruker Biospin for his work on the console and probe installation. We would like to acknowledge James and Margaret Tarpo for their generous gift which provided partial funds for the purchase of this console. We would like to further acknowledge Purdue's EVPRP MERI program which provided the remaining funding.
